Art Teacher/Instructor for Children and Teens 

Are you passionate with traditioanl fine art ? Do you love teaching young people how to draw and paint? Come and join our design studios in Kirkland north downtown and Bellevue Factoria next to T-Mobile building location. You’ll have a chance to work alongside talented artists, showcase your art, be an outstanding art instructor and have lots of fun!

AL Art Studio is a local studio with 2 branches, 8 years establishment, 200+ long term and 300+ short term  students. We are now hiring part time art instructors and contractors. You will have morning hours devolop your own art career, and teaching at our studio late afternoon and evening 6-hr shift, Saturday 8 hrs shift, or some of Sunday shift. Use teaching plans ready made by the studio, 1:3 -1:6 instructor student ratio. Our website: www.alstudioart.com

As a candidate, we’d like you to have:

– An art related degree, familiarity with at least two of these art media: chalk pastel, watercolor, pen, pencil, acrylic, oils. Creatively follow and contribute to the studio teaching syllabus.
– Working or volunteering experience with children. will train but preferred with 1-year experience art education to children.
– Must consent to a nationwide criminal background check.
-Preferably live locally within 15 miles of North Kirkland or Bellevue Facotoria

Responsibilities:- Clean up and set up for each class/party/camp
– Teaching with expectations. Meet studio standard of quality and quantity requirement.
-Organizing and manage daily attendance and students artworks; Help seasonal decoration.
– Basic admin knowledge, good communication with customers.
– Retail , day care experience, or oil painting skills, is a plus.

Cashier/Customer Service Representative 
AL Studio are looking for an energetic, well organized cashier/Customer Service Representative who enjoy be around with children and art to join us as a team! Work location are in Kirkland downtown and Factoria Bellevue; Hours are mostly M-F 3-8:30pm and weekends.


  • Answer emails and making phone calls, about general enrollment , reschedule and follow up.Re-engaging inactive members
  • Take payments, archive, tracking payments; Input registration document online and stay organized.
  • Staying updated on promotions: Renew art display twice a month; Seasonal decoration; Seaonal poster and flyers publishing
  • Liaison between our studios, business vendors and educational institutions.
  • Help instructors to track students attendance during rush hours. Help manager scheduling staff occasionally.
  • Clean up and set up for classes/camp/party together with art instructors during rush hours.

As a candidate, we’d like you to have:

  • Have a strong customer service orientation and be able to communicate effectively with students parents, prospective clients, vendors, and team. Maintain client confidentiality.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).Possess basic math and cash handling experience. Good at Excel.
  • Art background or daycare/school working experience is a plus.
  • Must consent to a nationwide criminal background check.
